What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Administrator position at R.A.S. Logistics?
R.A.S. Logistics is an Elkhart County employer in need of an experienced Claims Specialist. The qualified individual will be dependable, professional, knowledgeable and have a strong focus on the quality and the accuracy of their work. This is a regular, full-time, nonexempt position.
Professional customer service has been the key to our success. You will serve as company liaison between the customer and contracted carriers. Provide intake from many sources, including but not limited to insurance companies and consumers of reported property damage claims, complete the investigation through resolution of the claim, while working with, team members and contract carriers.
If you have excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills, including high integrity, respect for all individuals (consumers, vendors and employees) along with strong organizational skills and solid communication skills, and are detail oriented then this may just be the job for you!
- Have strong phone and email communication skills
- Must be able to deal effectively and tactfully with carriers and other employees in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
- Be able to multi-task effectively while producing quality work
- Ability to make time-sensitive decisions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic deductive reasoning skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
