Job description
Provide full-time (flexible 35 hours per week schedule) administrative and claims assistance to a busy family owned insurance office. Position will provide backup to staff and assist with client claims.
*Job Responsibilities
*Includes all but not limited to the following items.
- Answer phone calls.
- Follow-up with clients, if need be, to obtain information.
- Basic data entry of client information into office computer system.
- Help office staff track progress of client files from beginning to end via client logbook and software.
- Copying and printing of client information and/or copies for clients.
- Retrieve files of clients as needed. Organize and file and update those files as needed.
- Filing claims with carriers for clients
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required, and some college coursework is preferred.
- Must have at least 1 year of working in an office setting in a clerical capacity.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be willing and able to maintain client and office confidentiality laws, per HIPPA regulations.
