The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or plates from the bar area.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure timely service.
- Support catering events by assisting with food handling and service as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A clean appearance and adherence to hygiene standards.
