What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant (Hybrid) position at R&D Partners?
This is a 6-month contract hybrid position with a potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and flux analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities by analyzing financial data and preparing necessary reports.
- Work with large datasets in Excel, utilizing advanced functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist with audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 4 years of accounting experience, with 2 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting.
- Experience with posting journal entries, preferably in SAP S4/HANA ERP system.
- Prior public accounting experience and knowledge of internal controls/SOX is preferred.
- Comfortable working in excel and large sets of data.
- Responsible for preparation of account reconciliations and flux analysis to support month end and quarter end accounting close.
Pay
- $50.20-$62.75
