What are the responsibilities and job description for the Implant Technical Advisor for Dental Laboratory position at R-Dent Dental Laboratory?
Description: R-Dent Dental Laboratory, Inc. ("R-Dent"), one of the largest privately-owned labs in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, is seeking an experienced Implant Technical Advisor for its dental lab. The Implant Technical Advisor must have experience in CAD Implant design, surgical guides, implant parts/orders, chairside conversions, training doctors on implants, and discussing implant treatment plans with doctors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviewing prescriptions and interpreting instructions to design Implants, All-on-4 Cases, and Full-Arch Implants (including Implant Abutments);
- Designing and Planning Surgical Guides;
- Ordering parts for implant cases; placing implant parts in models; and Quality Checking (QC'ing) implant orders in 3Shape;
- Chairside conversions, training doctors on implant technique (in-person/remote), and discussing treatment plans with doctors for all implant case types; and
- Problem solving to meet daily production requirements for Production Lab.
Compensation Range: up to $30/hour (depending on level of skill, experience, and ability)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Required Education/Experience:
- Must have at least five years of CADCAM and Implant Experience. CDT certification is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of CAD Implant Design (including All-on-4 cases, Full-Arch Implants, and Implant Abutments) using 3Shape or Exocad;
- Designing and Planning Surgical Guides using Read Guide, Chrome or other software;
- Ordering parts for implant cases, placing implant parts in models, and Quality Checking implant orders in 3Shape; and
- Chairside conversions, training doctors on implant technique (in-person/remote), and discussing treatment plans with doctors for all implant case types.
