We are currently seeking a Junior Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT (RITE) team. This critical position will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment, by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. This role will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Firm’s PCs, printers, and related equipment. You will also be responsible for supporting various accounting software applications and MS Office. Tasks include end-user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
Our headquarters is in Atlanta, GA and candidates must be local in Atlanta currently and available on-site in the Atlanta office. RITE is actively looking to bring new team members on board now!

Responsibilities:
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
- Monitor the helpdesk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstations
- Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
- Document internal procedures
- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
- Proficient in Windows, disk-based imaging/cloning, Dell hardware, Microsoft Active Directory and some basic networking
- Working knowledge of application architecture
- Strong technical aptitude of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Practical understanding of database concepts (Microsoft SQL and Access)
- Thorough understanding of hardware and software configurations
- Familiarity with local and wide-area networking concepts
- Solid knowledge of various computer and networking components
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, unsupervised and to multitask and prioritize work
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field
- 2 years experience in an Information Technology environment
- Additional accounting application experience is an advantage (CCH, Peachtree, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certificate or a similar certification is preferred
- Spoken/written German language skills are not required but are a plus
