DownForce Air Solutions, a division of BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, is now looking to add a Part-time Paint Booth Maintenance Technician to their team!
Part time, $15/hour
$150 bonus for each booth accurately completed
Mondays and Tuesdays
Typically around 10 hours per day
The Booth Maintenance Technician is a role within the DownForce Air Solutions field operations department. The Booth Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for servicing customers by cleaning and maintaining customer paint booths as well as air piping and compressor installations/maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Loads company vehicles to prepare for customer installation and maintenance work
• Verifies vehicle inventories to ensure all necessary equipment, tools and supplies are available for daily work being performed
• Unloads vehicles and sets-up equipment at job sites
• Pressure washes paint booth cabin, grates and floor
• Vacuums excess water from floor
• Cleans paint booth pit to include lifting grates, shoveling old paint/debris and pumping excess water/material from pit
• Scrapes and cleans paint booth glass and when necessary booth walls
• Thoroughly cleans booth exhaust system to include pressure washing and vacuuming
• Re-caulks booth seams
• Replaces ceiling filters
• Applies spray-on booth coating and/or applies white peelable coating
• Performs thorough inspection of booth belts, seals, lights and ballasts
• Sands booth walls with air powered sander
• Applies paint masking tape to windows, hinges and doors and removes when work is completed
• Tears down work site and loads up vehicles
• Delivers exceptional customer service to our customers at all times
• Prepares booth cleaning quotes and ensures receipt of customer paperwork at job sites
• Supports air compressor and piping installations, maintenance and removal
Salary : $15 - $150
