What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at R Farm?
Responsibilities:
- check out customers using Square register, balance out at end of shift
- log deliveries and stock as needed
- attend to general housekeeping (dusting, sweeping, mopping etc..) to keep the store neat and tidy
- provide excellent customer service
- close up store and final clean up of bakery case and trays
- This shift includes rotating Saturdays. we are open until 6pm Mon-Sat until May 1. Then starting May going through approx October 1st we are open until 8pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday with and additional half hour after close allocated for final clean up.
- Must be 18 as we sell tobacco, beer and wine.
Qualifications:
- No experience necessary
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
-Ability to maintain a clean, neat and orderly work environment
