What are the responsibilities and job description for the ES Inventory Analyst position at R H Foster Energy, LLC?
JOB PURPOSE: The primary responsibility of the Energy Services Inventory Analyst (“ES Inventory Analyst”) is to manage all aspects of the Burner Service parts and equipment inventory.
The ES Inventory Analyst will be attached to the Business Intelligence Team (“BI”) and will report to the Director of Business Optimization. The ES Inventory Analyst will be expected to understand and communicate the operational needs of the ES staff to technical planning groups in IT/BI, and, likewise, to represent the needs of IT/BI to operations staff. Essentially, the ES Inventory Analyst serves as a bridge linking ES Operations and IT/BI to ensure the services IT/BI provides align efficiently with the needs of the ES Operations Team.
The ES Inventory Analyst will also serve in an operational support capacity in their local branch office. In this role, the ES Inventory Analyst will take direction from the Branch Manager and will be expected to assist operations staff as needed. Specifically, this operational support will include, but is not limited to, Delivery and Dispatch, Burner Service inventory and billing, and Customer Service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and control inventory levels at all ES locations to ensure only essential parts are held in warehouse locations, including service vehicles.

Maintain a current parts listing in Blue Cow and create new part numbers as needed.

Develop, implement, and manage 5S program for all company warehouse locations.

Coordinate Burner Service inventory cycle counts at all company warehouse locations.
- Research and resolve any major discrepancies and work with Accounting and BI staff to reconcile physical counts to book inventory balances.
- Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”) documentation for all activities related to Burner Parts inventory (Purchasing, Receiving, Storage and Transfers, Billing, Cycle Counts, and all other related activities.)
- Be familiar with Blue Cow tablet technology; troubleshoot issues and support end users as questions and issues arise.
- Support the Sales Team regarding quotes and proposals by ensuring accurate data is available in Blue Cow and sales representatives are properly trained on procedures.
- Train and support new employees who interact with Burner Parts inventory. This will include office staff who schedule service appointments and perform service billing, Service Technicians who utilize Blue Cow tablet technology, staff who order and receive parts and equipment, and salespersons who generate quotes within Blue Cow.
Education and/or Experience:
Four-year degree in Business Administration or related field with one-year experience working in an Energy Services environment or comparable combination of. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
