R.H. Foster Energy, LLC is seeking a Process & Inventory Control Manager to oversee the daily operations of R. H. Foster Energy, LLC’s inventory audit team and the functionality of monthly audits of all convenience retail sites to ensure the highest accuracy and minimal cost.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the process for counting all convenience retail sites and provide insights on inventory data to improve operational excellence, including conducting counts, researching, and posting counts.
- Maintain reporting to understand inventory levels, controls, and adjustments.
- Work collaboratively with the operational team to ensure that inventory adjustments are made, as needed, to ensure accurate counts, and that identified issues are researched and timely resolved.
- Make recommendations to the operational team on best practices to prevent future inventory concerns and ways to improve location performance.
- Conduct site-level cash audits, and audits related to operational excellence to further site-level education on process related items.
- Reinforce daily procedures, monthly procedures, and weekly procedures at site-level through coaching and development.
- Serve as a collaborative partner between operational staff and financial services to ensure optimal process execution.
- Communicate with Territory Sales Managers and Director of Convenience Retail on necessary training for sites and expectations for site-level management and coordinating process improvements.
- Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages 2-3 subordinate inventory counters. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems, Database software, Internet software, Inventory software, Spreadsheet software, Email software, and Word Processing software.
