We are looking for an Inventory & Process Control Specialist to ensure inventory is accounted for and maintained per the company’s inventory policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:

Assist in monthly audits of the convenience retail locations, counting all RETAIL INVENTORY at site level. This will be completed using technology to count all retail items at their current Pricebook values.

Support audits of Cash On Hand, Instant Lottery Tickets ( on display and in safe ).

Ensuring completeness and accuracy of the individual counts. Understand how to account for pending credits, missing invoices, potential Pricebook exceptions, and deliveries ( how they impact current count ).

Identify discrepancies and reconcile accordingly.

Audit results and differentiate between physical theft issues vs. paper shrink issues.

Mitigate fraud, ensure internal controls are being followed.

Verify the Vendor Check-In Logs are being completed.

Manage effective communications with stores: preparing for inventory, and during the day of count.

Printing of “flash sales reports” from the Cash Registers.

Have a working understanding the SAC ( Security Action Count ) standard operating procedure, how this policy governs an inventory count.

Understand what items from audit need to be stored, where to store and when to store.

Job will require travel to all retail locations, and may include overnight stay to accommodate retail inventory counts.

Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to nine months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The ability to use and interpret basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. The use of a handheld computer for the accurate counting of retail inventory.
