Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- One year accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
- Two years’ client service experience
- Experience using a modular software system
- Excellent phone skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Windows Operating System
The Job
- Play a key role on our accounting team:
- Monitor AP email, assist in communication with vendors
- Efficiently and accurately enter invoices into ERP software module
- Issue payments to vendors as approved
- Processes routine monthly payments as approved.
- Vendor statement reconciliations
- Prepare hard copy checks for mailing
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualities Required
- Possess basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures
- Possess exceptional organizational skills, able to work under moderate pressure
- Detail oriented
- Possess the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and clients
- Ability to quickly master multiple software systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to adapt to changes in technology
- Communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand and move freely, and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be 21 or over and have a current Driver’s License.
