Our client is looking to hire an experienced Associate to join their Consumer Financial Services practice group in Virginia Beach, VA. Ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience. Individuals with business litigation experience interested in practicing law with a nationally recognized group handling matters across the country are encourage to apply. A Virginia Bar License is required and the following experience is a plus :
- Commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions
- Mortgage, auto and credit card litigationCandidates must have strong academic performance and writing ability. Candidates must also be in good standing in Virginia with a desire to handle depositions and hearings. Admissions to other bars will be considered a plus. The Consumer Financial Services practice group focuses on a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including bank and non-bank consumer lenders, credit reporting, background screening, fair housing, debt collection, credit repair, auto finance, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending and payment processing.
