Role Overview
Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing, and maintenance of operating systems software on the Wyoming Department of Transportation's RIS driver services program mainframe.
Key Responsibilities
- Modify and debug vendor-supplied utilities and packages.
- Diagnose, isolate, and resolve software issues.
- Monitor system capacity and performance.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support.
- Support and resolve Z/OS operation and Z/OS problem analysis.
- Maintain, monitor, and operate BMC Control-M scheduler software.
- Work with third-party software such as VTAM-SWITCH and other ISV software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.46 - $42.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
