Job Description
Support customer demand through timely procurement of products to our distribution facilities located in US and Canada. Execute procurement strategies that assure supply and optimize cost to increase inventory turn rate.
Procurement Activities:
Support customer demand through timely procurement of products to our distribution facilities located in US and Canada. Execute procurement strategies that assure supply and optimize cost to increase inventory turn rate.
Procurement Activities:
- Duties include submitting POs, arranging freight, resolving billing or receiving issues.
- Reviewing and maintaining Min/Max and reorder point on inventory
- Manages relationships with supplier's customer service teams.
- Maintains Supply Agreements, Pricing, Certificates of Insurance
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain and/or min of 3 years Supply Chain or Procurement experience
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a faced paced environment and work with Sales and Customer Service within the organization
- Time management and organization skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft 365 (Excel)
