Accounts Payable Clerk – Full Time
Summary/Objective: The Accounts Payable Clerk completes payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation.
2. Enters bills into accounting software.
3. Processes and mails checks, or processes credit card payments.
4. Disputes discrepancies in bills to ensure there are not invalid charges.
5. Answers all vendor inquiries.
6. Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable files.
7. Performs light administrative duties as required.
Requirements: Prior Accounts Payable experience. Previous experience with QuickBooks or accounting software, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Microsoft Office programs preferred, as well as internet capabilities. Will train.
