CNC Programmer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery . As a CNC Programmer/ Machinist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components while ensuring precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process.

Duties

• Program and aid machine operators in setting up Haas mills and lathes.
• Operate CNC lathes and mills to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Utilize Mastercam to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance.
• Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Assemble components as needed, following detailed instructions and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, minimum 5 years experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, dimensions and tolerances.
• Advanced knowledge of Mastercam 24 software and CMM Master 3D Gauge.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including lathes and mills, 5th Axis.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
