Summary :
As the Project Coordinator I, your main priority is to plan, oversee, and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project coordinators will work closely project managers and with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
- Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
- Ability to route sites in 3rd party programs such as Mapline.
- Ensure that all needed phone calls are completed as part of site pre-installtion processes to include Low Voltage permitting needs, planning with General Contractors, etc.
- Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output.
- Ability to maintain Excel spreadsheets and other Live Docs to track technician expenses and other data points.
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan.
- Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources.
- Escalate and follow up on project issues that arise.
- Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers.
- Update the Team Leads, the Project Managers, and the PMO with notification of impacting issues, and report on-going issues through trend analysis.
- Continuously update site logs with information provided by technicians in the field.
- Monitor technician time on site and escalate.
- Follow up with technicians to ensure that their issues are resolved within a reasonable time frame.
- React to high priority issues, and escalate impacting issues to Field Support Supervisor.
- Other duties may be assigned.
