We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Store Manager in our specialty snowboard shop to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. Duties
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve sales goals and enhance performance.
- Train new employees on store policies, procedures, and best practices for customer engagement.
- Maintain an organized and efficient store environment, including managing cash register operations and POS systems.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in rental and retail management or as an Assistant Manager with a focus on customer service and a willingness to learn specific ski rental procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and guide team members towards success.
- Familiarity with wireless sales or technology products is a plus.
- Proficient in cash register operations and POS systems.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with customers and team members alike.
