Responsibilities
As the Plumbing Service Manager, you will oversee a team of 10-15 Residential Plumbing Technicians, driving operational excellence and ensuring outstanding customer service. You’ll coordinate all aspects of plumbing services, from scheduling and dispatch to quality assurance and technical support.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to plumbing technicians, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct staff meetings, manage schedules, and ensure high productivity among team members.
- Coach and motivate technicians to enhance their technical skills and revenue-generating capabilities.
- Oversee payroll accuracy and ensure proper technician compensation.
- Provide technical support to technicians on-site and over the phone.
- Audit paperwork and maintain equipment and vehicles to ensure quality standards.
- Manage the dispatch process to align customer needs with technician expertise.
- Resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships.
- Assist the General Manager with data collection, reporting, and site surveys.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Residential Plumbing Management with a successful track record in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical plumbing experience.
- Strong training, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing economic, financial, and market conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the plumbing industry (preferred).
- Plumbing Licensure is highly desirable and will be compensated accordingly (preferred but not required).
