Summary/Objective
To service existing customers while selling pharmaceutical products, prospecting for new sales, taking orders and following up with customers as needed. Supports internal sales function to include; spreadsheets, pricing, quotes, and analysis for new business prospects.

- Requires strong functional sales experience and relationship management.
- Requires strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel required.
- Pharmacy Tech experience a plus or strong working knowledge of pharmaceuticals.
- Oracle E- Business Suite experience a plus.
- Skillfully promotes company products and services via telephone while excelling at relationship management and customer service.
- Conducts daily sales of products and capitalizes on customer “upselling” opportunities to achieve set goals and objectives.
- Cultivates the growth of promotional products and high margin sku selling.
- Prospects new business opportunities by compiling price quotes & analysis for new customers.
- Provides analysis on sales trends and customer purchases and notifies customers on new products and alternate sku’s.
- Uses the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to log interaction of customer calls and progress.
- Enters phone, email or fax orders as needed into the Oracle system.
- Manages customer responses via phone and emails from the web site (IStore).
- Works with compliance officer to maintain customer licenses, recall communication & sending reports to the sales team.
- Creating, coordinating, and updating a wide array of forms for company use.
- Additional office duties from time to time may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years sales experience selling product and/or services with administrative or clerical related experience; or equivalent combination of education and pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Three to five years prospecting experience
- Pharma sales, Territory sales, or B2B sales experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Travel
Must be willing to travel assigned geography which will include daily and some overnight travel up to 15% for trainings and conferences.
