Job Description:
Candidate is expected to play the role of Integration Technical Project Manager for enterprise-wide implementation of iPaaS and API Management platform. The candidate should have hands-on in-depth work experience for the below listed responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage and execute the overall project in collaboration with the customer
- Create high level and detailed plan for landscape assessment, vendor evaluation and selection, runtime configuration and integration/APIs migration to the new iPaaS and API Management platform
- Collaborate with customer to assess the existing integration landscape, define the integration capabilities, requirements and enterprise integration strategy
- Evaluate iPaaS and API Management products based on the assessment and support the customer vendor selection process.
- Define and implement the highly-available and DR ready runtime architecture in Dev, QA and Prod
- Establish the integration Center of Excellence (iCoE), processes, assets, policies and run the iCoE
- Design and implement common framework, reusable assets, runtime monitoring, reusable integration and API patterns
- Plan and migrate integrations and APIs from legacy to the identified iPaaS and API Management platform
- Guidance to the team and customer collaboration
Qualification:
- 14 years of technical and project management experience in in Enterprise Integration space using Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, APIGGE or other iPaaS and API Management products
- Helped at least 2 customers in iPaaS and API Management product evaluation and selection
- Helped at least 2 customers in assessing their existing integration landscape, identifying the gaps and defining the to-be state integrations requirements and capabilities.
- Managed and executed at least 2 project that involved migration from legacy integration landscape (custom technical stack, legacy EAI products) to a modern iPaaS and API Management platform
- Hands-on experience in defining and implementing integration strategy at enterprise level
- Hands-on experience in establishing, running and governing integration Center of Excellence (iCoE)
- Candidates should have played PM role for at least 5 years and for at least 2 projects should have been responsible for defining high available architecture, installation and configuration (Dev, QA, Prod - on premise and cloud), design and development of integrations.
- Implemented integration solutions for customers who offer franchisee business
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and customer coordination skills
Skills:
- Hands-on project execution experience using Agile, Waterfall methodologies
- Hands-on experience in creating and managing project plan, risk and issue management, status reporting and change management
- Manage and leading a team with the ability to replan and prioritize activities to accomplish project goals
- In-depth hands-on experience in Enterprise Integration, iPaaS architecture design, installation, setup and configuration of highly-available (both Cloud and On-premise) and DR ready runtime cutting across different business units, geographies for a large enterprises
- In-depth hands-on experience in iPaaS platform, product/solution components using Integration and API Management
- In-depth hands-on experience in design, development and implementation of different types of integrations patterns of varied complexity involving different data formats
- In-depth hands-on experience in API Management security, monitoring, lifecycle management, policies, SLA s and developer portal
- Architecting the common components (auditing, logging, monitoring, dashboard customizations, standards, process, and reusable solutions) that will be reused by the integrations
- Hands on experience in administration, fine tuning the system/integrations to overcome performance bottlenecks
- Hands-on experience in using messaging queues for asynchronous and microservices architecture
- Hands on experience in Java, JavaScript, Groovy and custom scripting
- Extensive hands-on experience in integration space and good knowledge on multiple integration/iPaaS and API management products
- Good understanding of Linux, database concepts and hands on experience in working with database like creating procedures, complex queries etc.
- Suggest and recommend the appropriate reusable solution design for different types of integration patterns (API, real-time, Event, batch, etc.)
- Work independently with technical and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, perform due diligence, and recommend appropriate to be solution design
- Create, update, and maintain the integration standards/governance process/guidelines
- Participate in development, testing, deployment, review (design/code) and issue resolution activities
- Grooming the project team in technical skills and guiding them in development activities
- Collaborate with product vendors to resolve iPaaS platform issues
