One of our favorite law firm clients is looking for a Professional Development Assistant in the Washington, D.C. office. In this role, you would handle a variety of responsibilities related to the coordination of in-house training programs and retreats as well as provides support to update and maintain internal professional development websites and systems. You would work with the CLE Compliance Specialist to administer the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs at the firm. You would be responsible for the data entry needs of the CLE programming for both internal and client-facing programs, and provide support for internal and client CLE programs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year of administrative support experience.
- Familiarity with the legal profession helpful.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and databases. Experience using PC computers is required.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team required.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Possess reliability, dependability and motivation.
- Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional client service, both internal and external.
- Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary
The anticipated base salary for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.
