Client Relations Manager Description
Due to rapid growth within our organization, R. Yoder Construction, Inc. (“RYC”) is seeking a Client Relations Manager to create relationships with new customers, maintain relationships with existing clients, and improve the overall construction experience for clients. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling personality, and maintain a hunger for developing relationships and networking with local and regional corporations in the private sector to increase RYC’s market-share within the construction industry.
Client Relations Manager Responsibilities:
· Develop client relations by identifying and fostering relationships that promote RYC as well as the communities we work in and around.
· Research corporations, organizations, and individuals to find new opportunities for future projects, and create opportunities for meetings with stakeholders in future projects.
· Contact potential clients and corporations to establish rapport and arrange “foot-in-the-door” meetings.
· Engage with current clients throughout the construction process to obtain honest feedback on what is going well and areas of improvement; present findings to corporate executives with potential solutions
· Attend conferences, expos, meetings, and industry events to strengthen our brand and gain an edge over our competitors.
· Organizing and attending community events that create an RYC presence, such as golf outings or other promotional activities.
· Join and or sit on community and corporate boards for community engagement and representation.
· Assist development of both short-term and long-term goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
· Attend Redevelopment and Planning meetings for local, county, and municipal entities to gain insight on potential opportunities.
· Promote the values of RYC in the greater community.
Client Relations Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior marketing or sales experience required
- Extreme active listening skills required
- Prior construction experience preferred, but not required
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Goal-oriented and organized leadership
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and LinkedIn
- Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
