As our Business Development Director of Clinical Documentation and Coding you will be responsible for selling Self Pay managed services and software within a revenue cycle management environment. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships while partnering with the broader commercial team to collaborate and drive sales with hospital and healthcare providers. They are also responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare sales and knowledge of revenue cycle management and managed services.
Every day in this role you will :
- Responsible for pursuing, developing, and sustaining Self Pay Managed Services sales leads and prospects in the hospital and healthcare provider vertical.
- The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge and experience in selling RCM type solutions to VPs and C-level executives.
- Responsible and accountable for planning, qualifying, obtaining, and managing new and existing sales opportunities to achieve and exceed business plans.
- Develop and execute a strategy in collaboration with the commercial team that aligns with company objectives focused on rapidly building brand awareness and drives new revenue, including a focus on engaging and penetrating net new client locations.
- Maintain and provide accurate pipeline tracking within the department's sales process including but not limited to up-to-date data entry of leads and prospects into Company CRM (Salesforce.)
- Responsible and accountable to plan, organize and orchestrate internal resources appropriately to obtain sales objectives.
- Develop and deliver solution proposals and presentations.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals as assigned, including accurately forecast attainment on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Frequently travel within the sales territory to provide onsite presentations to VP and C-level staff within hospitals and healthcare systems.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending networking events and partnering with industry associations.
- Communicate effectively to deliver department goals, respond to market trends, and meet unexpected challenges involved with functioning independently in a fast-paced sales environment.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $116,133.00 - $173,605.10 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
