Project Architect
R2R studio is seeking a Project Architect who is creative and collaborative to join our ten person firm in Knoxville,
Tennessee.
For over 20 years, R2R studio has been home to a team-oriented group of architects and designers with a passion for learning. Our projects are unique to each concept and client that enters our office, and we pride ourselves in offering a holistic design approach to each project we work on. We are a small firm of driven problem solvers, always striving for powerful aesthetics on a wide range of building scopes.
As part of our team, you will have opportunities to engage in a variety of project types ranging from custom homes to new restaurant franchises. Our work generally focuses on smaller to mid-size Hospitality, Commercial Retail and Office, and
Single and Multi-Family Residential project types.
Job Requirements: Responsibilities:
. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture . Managing small-scale projects through all phases
. Minimum of 5 years working in the field of from initial client meetings through construction architecture administration
. Strong communication & organizational skills . Coordination with the internal office team on daily
. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit & tasks for 1-3 projects
Microsoft Suite . Producing accurate construction documents and
. Preference given to candidates with prior work providing quality control experience or proficiency in: . Managing consultant coordination
. Hospitality, Retail or Residential Design . Preparing for and leading client presentations
. Enscape, Sketchup or other rendering software . Collaborating with other teams on large-scale
. Adobe Creative Suite software projects
. Ability to sketch digitally & by hand . Providing a high level of client service and team
. Professional Licensure support through great design
