Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead field operations for our asset and scrap management projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at project sites, ensuring the efficient handling of assets and scrap materials, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Location:
This is a field-based position, with frequent travel to various project sites in the oil and gas industry. The Project Manager will directly manage on-site operations and work closely with internal teams to ensure optimal project execution and client satisfaction.
Candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius of the home office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage field operations for asset and scrap management projects, overseeing logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Supervise field teams to ensure high levels of productivity, safety, and efficiency during operations.
- Ensure that all project activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact between field operations, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
- Manage the proper disposal, recycling, and asset recovery processes in compliance with environmental standards.
- Coordinate the decommissioning, removal, and recycling of scrap metal from oil and gas sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
- Provide leadership and guidance to field staff, ensuring that all employees receive necessary training and follow safety protocols.
- Create detailed reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and compliance, using Microsoft Excel and other tools.
- Lead problem-solving efforts to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during field operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to optimize project planning, execution, and resource management.
- Support the hiring and disciplinary processes for field employees when needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in field operations, preferably within the oil and gas industry or asset management.
- Strong understanding of asset and scrap management, including compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project management software for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel to project sites and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations within the oil and gas sector.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- No DUI/DWI convictions within the past 3 years (7 years for commercial license holders).
- No felony convictions within the last 5 years.
