Job Title :- SQL DBA

Exp :- 10

Key Responsibilities :-

• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server databases and related products.
• Monitor database performance, implement performance tuning, and optimize queries to improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain database backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Manage database security, user permissions, and access controls.
• Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including connectivity, data corruption, and replication problems.
• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, such as indexing and archiving.
• Monitor and manage database capacity planning and scalability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including diagrams and processes.
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to support database needs and resolve issues.

Qualifications :-

<>Education :-

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

<>Technical Skills :-

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) and related tools.
• Strong understanding of T-SQL and ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery solutions (e.g., SQL Server Native Tools, third-party tools).
• Knowledge of database replication, mirroring, and clustering.
• Understanding of indexing strategies and partitioning.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SQL Server Profiler, Performance Monitor).
• Familiarity with cloud database platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus.

<>Experience :-

• 3-7 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator or similar role.
• Experience with large-scale database environments in high-availability setups.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications :-

• Certification in Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure Database Administrator Associate).

• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools (e.g., SSIS).
