Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. SQL Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for data processing and reporting
- Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with front-end applications
- Implement data security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans
- Conduct database troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution
- Work with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting platforms to develop dashboards and reports
- Ensure compliance with data governance and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning
- Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud databases such as AWS Athena or Snowflake is a plus
- Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS is preferred
- Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
