This position is located in Charlotte, NC.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Identify converters, open the converters, clean the converters, build, and weld the converter back together.
Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure precise stall speeds, heights, and assembly quality.
Must be able to use and safely operate, lathes, mills, power tools, drills, welders, cutting tools, and grinders.
Weld all balanced components together and set all internal clearance and heights properly.
Pressure check, balance and paint all types of converters with quality and precision in mind.

Requirements

Requirements :

Proficient is using and reading all measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Experience in using industrial style equipment and machinery including lathes, mills, welders, grinders, and parts washers.

General mechanical knowledge for assembly tasks.

Ability to follow directions, learn, and occasionally read mechanical prints on products we manufacture.

Basic welding skills such as MIG & TIG are required.

Must be able to lift 70 Lbs. and be on your feet all day.

Qualifications :

5 years of converter building experience.

2 years of experience using manual lathes, and mills for machining., welders, grinders, and parts washers.

Welding experience including MIG and TIG welding.

Experience with converter building equipment such as balances, automated converter welders, pressure checkers and bonders.

Work Shift Schedule :

Monday - Thursday : 6 : 30am - 5 : 00pm (We work 4-10's)
