RaceTrac Company Overview Job Description: The Payments Specialist role is responsible for the reconciliation, research, and issue resolution of payments from various and multiple payment forms, including bank, private label and fleet cards as well as ACH. Additionally, the role will work to reconcile daily transactions, process invoices from various vendors, provide reporting on a regular and ad hoc basis as well as process fees. Included in these responsibilities is the need to work with vendor and/or internal systems to process payments/account adjustments. The role may specialize in one or multiple areas of payment forms. Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily PDI IRR reconciliation of payment activities including but not limited to, ACH payments, credit, debit, Online and fleet cards. Process monthly fleet discount invoice reconciliation, journal entry store allocation and invoice payments. Perform EDO Bank Roll forward daily task reconciliation. Perform Fleet weekly payment reconciliation. Confirm Fleet invoice payments are posted across multiple systems. Assist with inquiries from accounting, fleet vendors and other teams. Assists with month end research /analysis including the preparation of journal entries for fleet, store credit, debit, ACH and other transactions. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 1-3 years of card payment reconciliation experience preferred. Accounting, i.e. journal entry and GL reconciliation required. Understanding of credit and debit card activity.
