Store Technologies Intern- Summer 2024

RaceTrac Company Overview Job Description: The Store Systems and Technology Intern is responsible for supporting defined projects and day to day tasks with the Store Systems and Technology team, ultimently impacting the overall success of the department. This individual will work on projects that are related to Software Develeopment, System Support, Point Of Sale Implementation and Support, Networking, and Reporting. In addition to Store Systems and Technology support, the intern contributes to a specific Intern Group Project to gain company-wide perspective and develop a solution to enhance the business. Responsibilities: Provides project support and assists with process improvement initiatives for the Store Systems and Technology team or cross-functional groups. Collaborates and partners with Operations and Accounting teams in an effort to deliver frictionless solutions that help to team members optimize time spent on daily activities. Conducts market research and benchmarking as it relates to projects. Works independently and collaboratively with the Store Systems and Technology team to meet deadlines and expectations for each project or task. Executes ad hoc analysis and shares departmental data and/or recommendations to the Store Systems and Technology leadership team. Qualifications: Current enrollment in a college or university with a major that aligns with the department Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Office) Preferred GPA 3.0 or higher Previous internship experience preferred Working at RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc.
