The Analyst is responsible for supporting strategic departmental goals that add value to the organization. This analyst will play a crucial role in the sales lifecycle, specifically ensuring a timely an accurate contract and allocation set up. This analyst will perform duties related to day-to-day sales, business development and account management.

The Analyst is responsible for supporting strategic departmental goals that add value to the organization. This analyst will play a crucial role in the sales lifecycle, specifically ensuring a timely an accurate contract and allocation set up. This analyst will perform duties related to day-to-day sales, business development and account management.
Responsibilities
- Effectively contributes in the rotation of the on-call phone handling all allocation requests and loading issues for customers and terminals.
- Supports sales with new business development and account management by setting up and maintaining customer accounts utilizing various third-party software and website portals.
- Ensure customer allocations are entered timely and accurately for daily, weekly and/or monthly volumes. Working with the Supply and Marketing teams as needed to manage changes in volumes appropriately and notify customers of any supply interruptions.
- Serves as an initial point of contact for customers with allocation issues; researches and resolves all issues; further escalates to management as appropriate.
- Possesses superior telephone, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively and positively with people at all levels, both internally and externally
- Acts as the intermediary between groups to ensure all information is accounted for in one central location
- Assists in the development and maintenance of department wide plans, goals, and deadlines
- Cultivates current customer relationships
Work Experience/ Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years professional experience in finance, logistics, business administration required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with logistics software
- At least 2-5 years experience in customer service or call-center environment with data entry skills preferred
- Ability to handle on-call rotation
- Strong attention to detail
