Rachel Contracting is a specialty site-work contractor performing earthwork, demolition, and utilities primarily in the Midwest/Central US region. We are seeking a qualified Earthwork Superintendent to join our team.
The successful candidate will have:
- Prior supervisory level experience in civil construction;
- A strong understanding of earthwork operations, including site grading, excavation, and backfilling;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of up to 25 workers;
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing site grading for commercial, industrial, development, wind and road construction projects;
- Operating equipment such as blade, dozer, excavator, water truck, off-road trucks, and skid steer;
- Communicating with subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures;
- Inspecting work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications;
