Description
Each vacant position offered is subject to the right of the District to withdraw or eliminate it at any time in the event changes in student enrollment, student/teacher ratios, attendance areas, etc. in altering the need for personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. WIAA coach certification or State teachers license is required.
2. A current knowledge of Cross Country rules and regulations and skill instruction.
3. Five years of past college or high school experience as a Cross Country participant or coach is preferred.
4. CPR/AED training is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform duties as designated by Activities Director.
2. Work with, organize, and lead high school age students.
3. Commit the time needed to maintain a successful program.
4. Communicate with students, parents, officials, faculty and the public (including media) effectively.
5. Attend meetings and performs duties required by the W.I.A.A./Conference/School District
6. Supervise and direct assistant coach (s) as needed
7. Maintain an image as a positive role model including, but not limited to:
a. Sportsmanship, proper language, appropriate attire
