This opportunity is within a 10:1.3 classroom, ensuring each child gets the attention they deserve.
Position Details:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, following our daycare calendar.
- Competitive rate of pay: $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Plan and organize programs in partnership with a special education teacher, providing both individual and group instruction.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Lead and assign tasks to paraprofessionals in the classroom, as applicable.
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing educational insights and problem-solving collaboratively.
- Maintain open communication with families, keeping them informed and supported.
- Collaborate with the team to utilize diverse techniques and perspectives in program design.
- Keep accurate records of children’s progress and attendance, and prepare reports for parent conferences.
- Attend required training sessions, ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations and program requirements.
Qualifications
Education (one of the following):
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field OR
- Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and 1 year related experience, OR
- 9 College credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for children.
