Title : Platform Developer, Sr. (Multi-Cloud)
Location : Hybrid (Must be located within a 120-mile radius of Charlottesville, VA | Hybrid 4 – 6 times per month)
Clearance : Active Tops Secret (SCI Eligible) About this role : Rackner is seeking a Platform Developer that will be responsible for setting up networking connections between Azure and an on prem environment and also to the AWS cloud
Containerization, automation and scripting of infrastructure as code, configuration and integration of services, monitoring, and stability of the management infrastructure. Develops hardened machine images (e.g. Azure VM), ensures STIG compliance, and custom services to facilitate security inheritance.
Requirements : 7 years; software development experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment (Python / Bash prefered) 6 months; provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using automation and tools such as terraform
2 years; Working with Platform as a Service technologies such as Kubernetes
1 year; Deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones, implementing and developing Azure policies, command-line interfaces, network technologies including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
Operating with AWS
Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security and a cloud service provider certification
