Job Summary
The Associate Athletics Director for Athletic Advancement will serve as the chief fundraising officer for Radford Athletics, acting as a strategic fundraising partner for the Vice President of Advancement and Alumni Relations and Director of Athletics. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Advancement with a dotted line to the Director of Athletics, this position emphasizes close collaboration with the athletics office.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure gifts to support the fundraising goals of Radford Athletics
Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors
Create and execute a strategic plan to increase donations, generate interest, build engagement, and gain support from prospects
Focus on increasing annual unrestricted support, as well as capital and endowment gifts aligned with Radford Athletic priorities
Attend and support athletic programs and maintain a presence at community events
Provide support for the Athletic Foundation Board and recommend prospective members
Oversee the Director of the Highlander Club
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in athletics advancement in higher education setting.

- Proven tract record of exceeding established fundraising goals in athletics · Exceptional written, oral and public speaking skills · Ability to effectively relate to diverse audiences · Proficiency in technology and data analysis · Experience in higher education athletics advancement preferred
