he Sample Maker will be responsible for constructing high-quality samples of garments based on design specifications.
This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong sewing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with product design and product development teams.
Position is estimated for 12 months but this is work being performed on an AS NEEDED BASIS.
There is NO guarantee for a set number of hours/week.
Hours will vary depending on business needs, but during the busy weeks candidate can expect to be working 30-40 hours/week. Again, NO guarantee for a set number of hours/week.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Sample Maker to join our team.
The Sample Maker will be responsible for constructing high-quality samples of garments based on design specifications.
This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong sewing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with product design and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
? Create prototypes and samples of garments, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
? Collaborate with designers to understand their vision and translate it into physical samples.
? Cut all pattern pieces and components from various fabrics and trims.
? After fittings make adjustments to samples for proper fit and construction.
? Maintain an organized workspace and keep track of materials and samples.
? Assist in developing new techniques and processes to improve sample development and suggest efficiencies in production.
? Communicate effectively with the design and production teams regarding timelines and project updates.
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Proven experience as a Sample Maker or similar role in the fashion industry.
? Strong sewing and garment construction skills, with proficiency in various sewing techniques.
? Familiarity with CAD software and patternmaking is a plus.
? Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
