- CERNER EMR experience – Required
- Travel experience - Preferred
- BSN (or higher) degree Required
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Provide direct patient care and treatment
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition
- Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy, ostomy care, and dialysis
- Manage patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment and care planning
- Knowledge of airway management and ICD-9 coding
- Ability to perform sonography and phlebotomy procedures
- Experience in working with people with disabilities
- Familiarity with occupational health practices
- Competency in providing alimentation support
- Strong communication and leadership skills
