Radial, the leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations has an exciting opening for a Manager, Cost Management. Radial’s omnichannel solutions use cutting-edge technology and analytics to optimize the e-commerce end to end processes reducing costs for our customer while enhancing the consumer experience.
Role Summary:
The Manager of Transportation Cost Management will be responsible for managing the transportation spend for a network of approximately 20 carriers, including 55M annual parcel final mile deliveries, less than truckload and truckload linehauls. The Manager of Cost Management will oversee the day-to-day management of our freight audit partner and support the Supply Chain Transportation initiatives related to carrier contract management, sourcing, negotiations and spend optimization. The Manager of Transportation Cost Management reports directly to the Director of Transportation Operations.
Responsibilities:

• Interface with Sales and Marketing colleagues to create and maintain sales enablement material.
• Material must align with industry trends, seasonality, corporate communications, and strategic marketing plans.
• Produce material that will assist Sales and Deal Enablement in accelerating open opportunities and contract renewals.
• Maintain and manage Radial’s content library Execute necessary pre-event promotions, content, and other activities.
• Work cross-functionally to obtain necessary company details and identify appropriate outlets for use.
• Produce and maintain company collateral for use in other Radial departments.
• Drive brand awareness and update materials with Internal Communications
• Ensure quality and consistency of brand voice and messaging across all mediums.
• Proactively track, measure, and report on program and campaign success metrics

Qualifications:

• Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
• Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.
• Typically considers new courses of action within broad policies and medium-term goals when solving problems.
• With general assignments, able to determine priorities and can define what should be done and how to do it.
• Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
• 5 yrs work related experience.
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to ascertain and solve problems.
• Strong analytical & leadership skills
• Strong communication & presentation skills**
• Must have proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across functional areas.
• Experience working with third-party freight audit and payment companies.
• Ability to drive results across a matrix-organized business culture.

Travel:

• This position is a hybrid schedule or remote KOP
• Travel is not required.
