Certified Athletic Trainer

Description:

The school district is looking for 2 part-time Certified Athletic Trainers that are licensed in WA.

Hours are as follows:

• M-F - 2 pm to 5:30 pm
• Fridays and the occasional Thursday will be evening games - 5:30 pm to 10 pm
• Total hours per week are approximately 22 hours but can increase based on necessity

Responsibilities include:

• Practice coverage based on fall, winter and spring sports
• Management student care pre and post-practice
• Activating EMS in the event of an emergency. Once EMS is activated, the AD or the coach calls the parent
• For all football games, EMS is onsite and there are AEDs on campus
• Will conduct pre-season concussion Impact testing in accordance with state and national best practices
• Administrative duties per typical AT position in secondary school setting
• Has athletic training room and able to coordinate with athletic training student group if feasible for AT

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
