We are looking for a self-starting individual that can work with a diverse technical group to support their operational needs, meet Government and Contractual requirements, and protect the integrity of the firm.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSConduct comprehensive market analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on factors such as cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to foster collaboration, improve performance, and ensure continuous supply.Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts, including pricing, payment terms, quality standards, and dispute resolution mechanisms.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, quality issues, and price fluctuations.Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and inform purchasing decisions.Support inventory management activities by monitoring stock levels and placing replenishment orders as needed.Source and procure materials, components, and equipment in accordance with company requirements and purchasing policies.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSTS / SCIStrong understanding of purchasing principles, practices, and strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Detail-oriented and organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise purchasing systemsKnowledge of supply chain management concepts and practices.
