Role
Responsibility for overseeing marketing’s internal communications and external public relations communications in the communities served by Radiant. This includes posting through the company intranet and email, as well as external company news posts, press releases, and blog content. Community Relations responsibilities include community engagement programs (Charity of the Month and School of the Month), company-sponsored and endorsed community events and sponsorships, and management of company promotional merchandise. Role entails maintaining strong relationships and communications channels with the branch offices, and across the region served by the company.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education Bachelor’s degree preferred. Required: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Consistent collaboration and interaction with department teammates, organizational personnel, outside groups, and members is expected. Fostering of working relationships is essential.
Other Skills Experience developing and managing member-facing communications. Ability to track, measure and analyze marketing results and develop/maintain relevant reporting. Working knowledge of visual/graphic design and social media. Professional-level written and verbal skills. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud product set and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to work on longer-term strategic projects, as well as short-term needs and deadlines.

- Communications. Responsibilities include the development and posting of internal communications via the company intranet and email channels, including marketing promotions, new product announcements, and other communications going to members from outside partners. External public relations communications include the consideration, creation and posting of news events, press releases, and blog content. These duties also entail management of media contacts, as well as strategic oversight and planning of communications to benefit the organization.
- Community Relations. Responsibilities include oversight and hands-on logistical management of Radiant’s Charity of the Month and School of the Month programs. These programs may also entail photography and video shoots of the monthly winners of these programs, as well as assistance with communications to team members and on social media. Community Events and Sponsorships involve active research of community engagement opportunities, as well as receipt and tracking of requests from the communities served by Radiant. Duties also include oversight, management and distribution of Radiant branded promotion materials.
- Member Feedback. Responsibilities include oversight and logistical management of the member review platform, as well as necessary follow-up communication to internal teams regarding member reviews and feedback.
- Project Tracking. Utilization of the Marketing department’s project management platform for tracking and sharing communications and community relations activities and needs.
- Creative Collaboration. Collaborate with the Marketing team for company campaign and promotion strategy.
- Branding. Adherence to Radiant branding and brand standards in production of marketing materials and platforms.
- Other. Other duties as requested or assigned.
- Develop and execute marketing-driven communications programs for internal and external audiences.
- Develop and maintain relevant media contact lists and organizations.
- Management of community relations programs, company-supported events and sponsorships.
- Manage and measure member feedback through existing and future voice-of-the-member channels.
- Engage in ongoing project management platform for department communication.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for ongoing promotions, and improvement.
- Suggest community engagement opportunities to the marketing team and branch leadership.
- Ensure accuracy (brand, spelling, data, etc.) of produced marketing materials.
