We are seeking a passionate Peer Support Specialist to join our addiction services team. In this role, you will use your lived experience with substance use recovery to support and guide others in their journey toward a brighter future. You will provide encouragement, mentorship, and advocacy while working alongside clinical staff in recovery..
- Have a Certified Peer Support Professional certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Lived experience with addiction recovery and sustained sobriety
- Ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds with empathy and understanding.
- Previous experience providing direct Peer Support Specialist services preferred
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Commitment to ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.
