JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and manage sales efforts for our assisted living and independent living communities across the Pacific Northwest region. Travel is required 2-3 days per week on-site to ensure performance metrics are being met. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the oversight of occupancy growth, building relationships with referral sources, and executing strategic sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue goals. This role requires a proactive leader with a deep understanding of the senior living industry and a passion for enhancing the lives of seniors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and increase occupancy across multiple assisted living and independent living communities.
- Lead and support local sales teams to ensure alignment with regional objectives.
- Build and nurture relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to drive new business opportunities and referrals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the region’s senior living market.
- Tailor sales strategies to meet the needs of the target demographic and the local market.
- Oversee the sales funnel, ensuring proper follow-up with leads, timely conversions, and continuous monitoring of lead generation.
- Drive consistent and effective outreach to prospective residents and their families.
- Mentor, train, and motivate regional sales teams to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Provide coaching and support to ensure team success and professional growth.
- Monitor, track, and report on key sales performance metrics, including occupancy rates, conversion ratios, and revenue generation. Regularly report progress to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, community outreach programs, and networking opportunities. Act as a brand ambassador to enhance the reputation and visibility of the senior living communities in the region.
- Collaborate with regional and community leadership teams to ensure alignment on sales goals, marketing efforts, and overall operational strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field
- Valid Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license as required by state regulations.
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare administration, with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing facility leadership role.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and standards governing skilled nursing facilities.
- Strong organizational and financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and manage teams effectively.
- Passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- 3 years of sales experience, with at least 1 years in a leadership role in the senior living, healthcare, or related industry.
- Proven track record of driving occupancy and sales growth in assisted living or independent living settings.
- Strong understanding of the senior living industry, including regulatory requirements and community-based services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required 2-3 days per week.
