Technical Supervisor

Position Overview

The “Technical Supervisor” is responsible for overseeing a cross-functional technical team of installation technicians, system builders and field service technicians. This role involves direct site supervision, conducting training and certifications, performing site surveys, quality control visits, managing technical escalations, and providing mentorship to staff. The Technical Supervisor plays a critical role in day-to-day management of technical staff. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively manage and support the team and ensure successful outcomes for both installation and post installation support.

Responsibilities Overview

• Oversee the daily operations of technical activity for project and post project work to ensure expectations are met.
• Develop and implement approved training plans to ensure team members are skilled and certified.
• Perform site surveys and quality control visits to maintain high standards and manage technical escalations.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Lead internal meetings to ensure productive and effective use of time.
• Travel to various job sites required.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
