Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Administrator to maintain, support, and optimize our Informatica environments. This role is critical to ensuring seamless operation of our data integration, quality, and governance processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, and related tools, with strong capabilities in system administration, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Configuration
- Install, configure, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, and related tools.
- Set up environments for development, testing, and production.
User Management
- Manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions in the Informatica platform.
- Enforce security policies and monitor access controls.
Workflow Management
- Monitor and manage workflows, sessions, tasks, and scheduling to ensure successful data integration.
- Troubleshoot failed jobs and resolve issues proactively.
Performance Tuning
- Analyze and address performance bottlenecks across Informatica services.
- Optimize server configurations, memory usage, and job designs.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across the Informatica landscape.
- Ensure uninterrupted data flow and integration processes.
Data Source Configuration
- Configure and manage connections to diverse data sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud services.
Security
- Implement and manage platform security measures to protect data integrity and platform availability.
Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on installations, configurations, issue resolutions, and best practices.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Regularly monitor the health, availability, and performance of Informatica components.
- Generate reports and logs to support audits and operational reviews.
Upgrade & Migration
- Plan and execute Informatica version upgrades, repository migrations, and environment refreshes.
Training & Support
- Provide user support and training on best practices for using Informatica tools.
- Collaborate with application developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to ensure ecosystem integration.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Informatica Administration
- Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica MDM, and related components
- Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux systems, shell scripting, and server administration
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in ETL/data integration environments
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality standards, and compliance frameworks
- Exposure to cloud-based Informatica services (e.g., IICS)
- Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
- Understanding of ITIL practices, including change and incident management
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, backups, and failover mechanisms

Pay: $108,887.00 - $115,224.00 per year
