The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function. This generally includes receiving and verifying all invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments. and undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. The Accounts Payable Coordinator must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently and is expected to demonstrate ENCORE in all communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate payments, including verifying, classifying and recording federal ID numbers and purchase orders.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Monitor multiple accounts payable email boxes in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Facilitates the annual 1099 process for multiple companies.
- Processes patient refunds while ensuring proper documentation is provided.
- Act as liaison with outside tax firm.
- Facilitate unclaimed property process and associated reporting.
- Other related duties and projects assigned.
