Job Summary
Machine Operator 1’s are responsible for setting up and operating various types of production machinery equipment. Operators will interact with production team members, quality assurance technicians, and maintenance mechanics to maximize output and efficiency while maintaining a professionally clean environment. Machine Operators use production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion in a fast-paced environment. While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently exposed to dust and laundry detergent smells, and loud noise levels.
Responsibilities:
- Review the shift schedule and specifications located within the work area.
- Load and unload raw materials into processing machinery to maintain a smooth flow of production.
- Periodically check manufactured product for defects and ensure the level of quality.
- Ensures that all production reporting & data collection is completed in a timely manner.
- Oversee the start of a production line.
- Set up and calibrate machinery according to specifications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during operation.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clear and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of machinery/equipment
- Results-oriented and driven work style.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Must possess attention to detail.
- Must be able to successfully pass all screening processes.
- Must be legally authorized to work In the United States.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues.
- Ability to lead a team and train other employees, as needed.
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks.
- Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance.
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Must be at least 18 years of age
